Larissa Petrucci is a Policy and Research Analyst at NorCal Construction Industry Compliance (NCIC), specializing in labor standards enforcement, workforce development, and public policy in the construction industry.
At NCIC, Larissa produces research to assess and protect worker’s rights, improve public accountability, and strengthen career pathways in the construction industry. She has authored multiple policy-driven publications that examine the effects of state and local regulations including prevailing wage laws, apprenticeship standards, and project labor agreements. Her research aims to inform evidence-based decision-making on public investments and workforce standards in California’s construction industry.
Larissa received a PhD in Sociology from the University of Oregon, with a focus on labor and employment. Before joining NCIC Larissa was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois School of Labor and Employment Relations. Outside of the construction industry, she has published research on working conditions and labor laws in low-wage industries such as retail, hospitality, food services, child care, and gig work.
